What Happens After Your Registration?
For Companies

After you will have registered and confirmed your e-mail address, the following steps will take place:

1. You will be contacted by the relevant Contact Point in charge of your country (please see list below) within three working days:

– If your proposed idea for a digitalisation project is still to be refined, the CP will invite you to join a DigitaliseSME webinar or a live event where it will be explained what is needed to provide a more accurate proposal.

– If your proposal for a digital transformation project is clear and well-defined, the CP will proceed to actively look for a Digital Enabler in our database that matches your need.

The CP might get in touch to schedule a call with you to know more about your organisation and your project.

2. The CP will then propose you the profile of the Digital Enabler identified as suitable for your specific project.

3. Once you have agreed to be matched with a specific Digital Enabler, you will be requested to provide the following documents before the matching is formally approved by our Evaluation Committee:

Expression of Interest – a signed document confirming your status as an eligible company for the project (SME or Mid-Cap status), a clear description of your proposed digital project and a confirmation of commitment to the match ( eg. commitment to cover the costs of board and lodging of the Digital Enabler).

4. Once the match is approved by the committee, you will be invited for a joint phone call between you, the Digital Enabler and the CP to lay down the basis of your collaboration.

5. Following the call, the Digital Enabler has to sign a Financial Support Agreement with the CP and the cooperation between your company and her/him may start, with the Digital Enabler providing desk work for two week and visiting your company for two weeks.

6. In case, you and the Digital Enabler don’t find a good ground for cooperation, the Contact Point might – but does not need to – offer you a second choice. This could also come only some weeks or months later.

7. As an indicative timeframe, you can assume the following: from registration to an answer by the Evaluation Committee, if the digitalisation project is adequate and a match possible, you should calculate maximum 2 months, in most cases even less time. It also depends on how much time you need to improve your proposal, if necessary, and to submit your expression of interest. An additional 2 weeks should be counted for organising the conference call with the Digital Enabler.

For Digital Enablers

After you will have registered and confirmed your e-mail address, the following steps will take place within three working days:

1. You will be contacted by the relevant Contact Point in charge of your country (please see list below). It will let you know about coming events and webinars in case you were interested.

The CP might get in touch to schedule a call with you –  very often it will be in English – to know more about your skills and profile.

2. After this, the CP will decide whether to insert you in the shortlist of potential Digital Enablers or not and – in case of a positive decision – ask you to provide:

Reference Letters – two reference letters from companies you worked with in the past that can confirm your professional skills in the field.

Following the receipt of the document, the CP will propose to the Evaluation Committee a potential match of your profile with a suitable company.

3. Once this proposal is approved by the Evaluation Committee, you will be invited for a joint phone call between you, the Company and the CP to lay down the basis of your collaboration.

4. You will then also be invited to sign the Financial Support Agreement between you and the CP, defining your contribution to the digitalisation project of the company that you were matched with, and the other relevant points, such as the compensation of 8.000€ you will be provided with.

You will be also required to provide a:

Self-Certification – a signed self-certification stating your professional independency, clearly showing you are not a shareholder in competing or assisted companies

5. Following the signature of the Financial Support Agreement , the matching may start, and you should provide two weeks of desk work to the Company and visit it for another two weeks.

6. As an indicative timeframe, you can assume the following: from registration to an answer by the Evaluation Committee regarding the possible match you should calculate maximum 2 months, in most cases even less time . An additional 2 weeks should be counted for organising the conference call with the company and for signing the Financial Support Agreement .
